For: New or
continuing students intending to enrol in an Honours program at the
University of Sydney for the following year.
Honours Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit and
personal attributes such as leadership and creativity.
Applications for Honours Scholarships are open once a year only. You
must apply in the year before you commence Honours, irrespective of
whether you intend to commence in the first or second semester of
the next academic year. To be eligible for an Honours scholarship
you must have applied for and be commencing in an Honours program at
the University of Sydney in 2010. The Honours program must involve
an additional year to a standard Bachelor degree. Students who are
awarded honours on the basis of their results in their standard
Bachelor degree or who are awarded Honours on the basis of
additional work undertaken as part of their Bachelor degree are not
eligible to apply. If you wish to apply, please ensure you do so by
the above closing date.
You must be a local student (ie. Australian or New Zealand citizen,
or permanent resident of Australia). Please note that
international students are not eligible to apply.
