README Muller et al. (2019) seafloor age-grid Uploaded by Sabin Zahirovic (sabin.zahirovic@sydney.edu.au) 6 June 2019 Plate reconstructions and seafloor age-grid can be downloaded from: https://www.earthbyte.org/webdav/ftp/Data_Collections/Muller_etal_2019_Tectonics/ Each folder contains a GPML file that can be opened in GPlates, and will then load the time-dependent raster contained within that folder. Be aware that the first time the rasters are loaded can take some time (up to 20-30 minutes). GPlates will generate cache files in the directory, which can be several gigabytes in total, so ensure that you have enough disk space. The cache files can be deleted, but they make sure that loading the rasters is super quick in GPlates on subsequent loads. This age-grid is public version 1.2, and internal revision 1420 of the 2019_v1 seafloor age-grid. Citation: Müller, R. D., Zahirovic, S., Williams, S. E., Cannon, J., Seton, M., Bower, D.
