Welcome newcomers!
Welcome!
Jan is a carbonate geologist / petrophysicist with 10 years of industry experience in oil & gas, carbon capture, and lithium exploration. His research interest is in permeability prediction from wireline and logging-while-drilling data where he utilizes various machine learning techniques to tackle large datasets.
Previous research focused on dielectric dispersion measurements and their relation to multi-scale pore geometries and reservoir storage and flow properties.
His current research focuses on Lithium brine exploration using deep time plate reconstruction together with paleo elevation and paleoclimate modelling. He works as post-doc as part of the STELLAR group on database compilation for paleo crustal thickness estimation using whole rock chemistry proxies and zircon anomalies.
