EarthByte Group Diversity and Inclusion Statement 

The EarthByte Group is a multidisciplinary research group comprising members with diverse professional backgrounds, genders, ages and ethnicities. We are committed to building and maintaining a diverse and inclusive workplace. We have a strong track-record in supporting a workplace that accepts, values and celebrates diversity, irrespective of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), technology choices, or other areas of potential difference. Ensuring diversity of our group is one of our core aims and we are committed to building a culture where all members of the group feel equally accepted, supported and promoted.

EarthByte Group Policy on Respect

The EarthByte Group is a multidisciplinary research group comprising members with diverse professional backgrounds, genders, ages and ethnicities. It is expected that every EarthByte member will treat other members, and everyone that they meet with courtesy, respect and professionalism. EarthByte research and teaching collaboration and meetings should be positive experiences for all. EarthByte does not tolerate unprofessional conduct, discrimination, intimidation or sexual harassment. Any incident that runs contrary to the EarthByte culture of collegiality and this Policy on Respect should be reported immediately to a member of the EarthByte leadership.

EarthByte Group Code of Conduct

EarthByte meetings and social gatherings are intended for learning, networking, collaboration and social interaction. All participants are expected to show respect and courtesy to other participants throughout such events and in other interactions including online. The EarthByte Group is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), technology choices, or other group status.
