Addison is an Honours student within the Earthbyte group, working with his supervisors Sabin Zahirovic and Sara Polanco. His research involves looking at the landform evolution of the New Guinea Margin throughout the Cenozoic, such as phases of mountain building and erosion, or subsidence and flooding of the margin. He is conducting his research through the analysis of thermochronology data and running computer models with the Badlands software.
Addison has experience developing landform evolution models and landform design tools within industry. He also has a keen interest in tectonics and geological models, and is looking forward to expanding his expertise in these fields throughout his Honours research and further study.
